 प्रायेणाल्पायुषः सभ्य कलौ अस्मिन् युगे जनाः ।

मन्दाः सुमन्दमतयो मन्दभाग्या ह्युपद्रुताः ॥ १० ॥

  • अल्पायु: इस युग (कलियुग) में लोग सामान्यतः अल्पायु (अल्पायुषः) होते हैं।
  • मंद और दुर्भाग्यशाली: वे अक्सर आलसी (मन्दाः), भ्रमित (सुमन्दमतयः) और दुर्भाग्यशाली (मन्दभाग्याः) होते हैं।
  • लगातार परेशान: इसके अतिरिक्त, वे विभिन्न समस्याओं से लगातार परेशान (उपद्रुताः) रहते हैं।
